Tante Marguerite

In July 1999, Bernard Loiseau acquired a second property in Paris in the Rue de Bourgogne, 100 metres from Place du Palais Bourbon.

Dominique Loiseau suggested that the name of this restaurant should be a first name from Burgundy. Marguerite was chosen, as there have been a number of famous Marguerites in the history of Burgundy.

The Tante Marguerite Restaurant is right next to the National Assembly, in the 7th arrondissement and boasts an elegant and cosy ambiance. Fine light-wood panelling adorns the walls of the huge dining room and blends with the judicious contemporary touches of designer Nicolas Triboulot.

In autumn 2010, substantial refurbishment took place in the restaurant, kitchens and basement.

Politicians and journalists figure amongst the guests who mingle over lunch, with manager Erick Donzeau and his team as their hosts.

This convivial yet private atmosphere, reflected in the demeanour of the staff, provides the ideal setting for confidential meetings, especially in the private rooms (6 to 19 persons) upstairs.

Tante Marguerite, in common with all the other restaurants in the Bernard Loiseau Group, epitomises the professional standards of the Bernard Loiseau brand.

Opening hours : 12 noon to 2.30pm and 7pm to 10.30pm.

Annuel events at Tante Marguerite

From the 10th - 16 October 2011
The "Semaine des provinces" will be celebrated.
On this occasion, the chef, Pedro Gomes will make a half-dish with a basic product.

From the 17th - 23rd October 2011
On the occasion of the "Semaine du goût", the talented chef will add value to the producers of the products that he cooks.
Also, during the "semaine du goût" and the "semaine bordelaise" (from the 17th to the 21st October 2011), a special menu for lunch at 45€ and for dinner at 55€ will be proposed.

Furthermore, the greatest "Crus de Bordeaux" will be sold at cost price. For more details, see the News on the left-side of this page.
