Halfway between Paris and Lyon, the Tour d'Auxois is at the foot of the Morvan Regional Natural Park. This forest massif is breathtakingly beautiful and the landscapes are unmistakably reminiscent of Canada with its greenery, its lakes and its immense fir forests (of which it is the leading producer in France).
